 Mr. Jay Ehler Principal Sidney High School
Mr. Ehler is beginning his third year as the Principal for the Sidney Red Raiders. Prior to moving to Sidney, Mr. Ehler was a High School Social Studies teacher in Gering for 8 years. Mr. Ehler grew up in Scottsbluff and graduated from Scottsbluff High School. Both parents are also long time educators. Mr. Ehler attended college at WNCC, University of Texas, Arlington, and Chadron State College. He completed his masters in Education Administration in 2004 at Chadron State College. Mr. Ehler's wife, Sheri, is the Elementary Principal at West and Central Schools in Sidney. Their oldest son, Bowdy, attends Gonzaga University. He is a business major and plays collegiate golf. Their second son, Paxton, is currently a 7th grader and daughter AJ is a 6th grader. |
 Mr. Mike Brockhaus Activities Director Sidney High School
Mr. Mike Brockhaus is beginning his third year at Sidney High School as the Activities Director. The 2008-2009 school year will be his 18th year in Education. Mike's wife Jennifer works at Memorial Health Center in the Business Office. They have two daughters. Charlie is in 3nd grade and Dani will begin 1st grade this Fall. |
 Mr. Dick Scott Assistant Principal Transportation Director Sidney High School
Mr. Scott is beginning his 18th year with Sidney Public Schools. Prior to working at Sidney Public Schools, Mr. Scott was employed by St. Patrick's School as an Activity Director, Science Teacher and Coach. Mr. Scott graduated from High School in Merriman, Nebraska. After his military service in 1970, he received a BS from Chadron State College. In 1990 he received his MS from Chadron State. He and his wife Diane have lived in Sidney 35 years. They have three daughters: Amber, Nicole and Jessica.
