Announcement:  The JV football game to be played at Torrington on Tuesday, September 7th at 5PM is now going to start at 6PM due to a scheduling conflict in Torrington

The NSAA is allowing member schools to have a jamboree game versus another member school in November with proceeds going to the Nebraska High School Hall of Fame in Lincoln, Nebraska.  This is very similar to the jamboree games a few years ago to help the Hurricane Katrina victims.  The Sidney girls and boys basketball teams will be traveling to Bayard to play their teams on Tuesday, November 23, 2010.  This game does not count against the number of games the schools can play and does not count towards their records for the regular season.  A regular admission will be taken and then sent to the Hall of Fame.  More information will be coming as the details of the times of the games and the admission prices are given.

Dear Parents & Students -

With the beginning of school fast approaching, I wanted to make you aware of some important changes to our High School Handbook

• Dress Code: Shorts and skirts must be at least mid-thigh in length and tank tops are only allowed if they are layered with other appropriate clothing. The following is a copy of the dress code portion from the handbook stating prohibited attire:
• Refusal to do work policy: When a student refuses to do work, a parent will be notified. Continued refusal to do work will be considered insubordination and the student will be removed from school.
