Counseling Program Mission Statement

To provide a counseling program addressing the academic career and personal / social development of all students. School counselors are professional advocates who provide support to maximize potential and academic achievement. In partnership with other educators, parents or guardians, and the community, school counselors facilitate the support systems to ensure students of Sidney High School have access to and are prepared with the knowledge and skills to contribute at the highest level as productive members of society.

Downslips will be mailed home every 3 weeks to student's that are receiving a failing grade in one or more classes on the following dates:

September 4th, 2009

September 25th, 2009

*October 16th, 2009-End of 1st Quarter

November 6th, 2009

December 4th, 2009

*December 22nd, 2009-End of 2nd Quarter

January 22nd, 2010

February 11th, 2010

*March 5th, 2010-End of 3rd Quarter

April 1st, 2010

April 26th, 2010

*May 20th, 2010-End of 4th Quarter
