The Sidney Red Raider Booster Club has re-organized effective for the 2009-2010 school calendar year. These changes are being implemented to improve booster club support of all school-sponsored activities, communication with coaches, teachers, parents and fund raising. Most importantly, the goal of a re-organized booster club is to proactively support the experience of all junior and senior high participants.
As we celebrate the milestone opening of our new high school and the excitement of this big event we are hopeful that changes to the organization of YOUR booster club will enhance community participation supporting a top class B school in Nebraska.
The following two organizations have been formed and empowered to execute support of specific school activities. These groups have separate meetings, events, fund raising activities and self-funding budgets. The combined efforts of these groups will become the overall Sidney "Booster Club" contribution for 2009-2010.
SIDNEY RAIDER FINE ARTS CLUB
This club will consist of parents and supporters of Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Speech, Mock Trial, One Act Play, Skills USA, FCCLA and/or any other fine art or academic focused groups. SIDNEY RAIDER ATHLETIC CLUB
This club will consist of parents and supporters of Football, Volleyball, Cross Country, Golf, Basketball, Wrestling, Track, Danz Team and Cheer Team. Please contact Lee Jacobsen for more information.
If you are a parent of a Sidney Middle School or Sidney High School student who is participating in any activity listed above, your support of one or both of these new youth booster organizations is highly welcomed and encouraged. Time and talent is just as important as fund raising - so please be proactive with your support in any way possible.
